So just a quick short review kinda deal on Awakened for you guys. Aaaaaaaabsolutely worth the money in my opinion. The promises of it being the most twisted messed up shit they'd done yet were pretty well backed up. The hallucinations lacking from Isaac's storyline in 3 that I'd seen a lot of reviewers complain about were made up for in Awakened. The religious fanaticism of the unitologists gets freaky in ways the other games haven't touched yet and some of the new enemy designs are insane. There are fights you have while hallucinating and the DLC as a whole gave me a pretty big adrenaline rush I haven't felt in a good minute with the series. I was more tense throughout the hour and a half that I played it than I was in a lot of 3, not to discredit DS3, just that Awakened is really freaking good IMO. It answers some questions that the end of DS3 might have left you with and ends leaving you without a doubt in your mind that DS4 is going to have some IMMENSELY MESSED UP SHIT going down. If you haven't played it yet you definitely should check it out.
