Since I'm such a procrastinator.. Anime Detour Review

yes I realize the con was like 2 weeks ago.. I procrastinate....
Anyway Friday I got there, said hello to folks, explored a bit, volunteered for a few hours with the video gaming room, mostly telling people to stay away from the area the PC's were being set up for the Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm and League of Legends tournements.
Later that night I had my panel ^.^ , had a modest turn out all things considered for being at Sofitel (please, next time just shoot me rather than put my panel there) which was semi-hard to find the panel rooms, and because so many people In this con dont know were or how to get from Double Tree to Sofitel, any high expectations for turn outs is shattered. I had around 10 there, and it was a very good panel and I got lots of positive feedback afterwards about the useful information.
Saturday I got to do some dueling with PoetryNinja and Baki in the Yugi-oh tournement, which was alot of fun, I did alot of open board gaming, then went down stairs for the
MNfurs photoshoot and promptly then rushed back up for a game I wanted to really play.
Sunday I got there just after noon, since I wasnt too concerned or interested in anything til later, I hung out with a few folks, got to play a fun game of Werewolf, followed by a even more enjoyable game of Ninja, by the time that ended around 7 the place was seemingly dead and I pretty much had to call it a con.
Looking forward to next year and another fun Detour.
I picked up some interesting Anime series that I definately need to watch sometime, I will give reviews on them once I've watched some and ill let you guys know what ones are worth watching!

next con: CONvergence or Animinneapolis (they usually are 1 after the other and I forget which one is first this year)
