The tumor basically crushed the right sinus and when it was removed I did not have insurance so they only did as much as was needed to save my life...

What they plan on doing is using a balloon to widen the passages to the upper sinuses and remove some excess tissue from the front.
The desired result is to cut down sinus infections from 7 to 8 a year to about 1 or 2.
Also to eliminate the sinus pain and pressure I feel on and off on a regular basis on my right side and in general help me breath better.
Since 2009 I only occasionally have had both sinus passages open, normally it's only one side or the other, for example as i type this my right is clear and i can breath through it.
But the left is blocked to the point i can hold my hand in front of it and not feel the air as I exhale.
