PLEASE READ AND SPREAD THE WORD!!!

Im sorry to be the bearer of bad news but there is a site that has been stealing art and posing it up as a free coloring pages for kids, they has ignored any comment the artist has made and they haven't linked back to any of the artist that have been hit. THIS IS NOT RIGHT, i have no idea if fa has been hit yet but i am just posting this up as a warning for all.
I copied this from a user on Deviant Art there user name is NinjaKato
imagixs.com/
Ummmn...well, I found my work up there imagixs.com/search?q=ninjakato… Which is hilarious because almost all the images they do have of mine aren't even line art... they're sketches of OCs...which of course are not line art O_o
Okay so, down to tacks of brass... Apparently this is a free colouring page website which allows people to grab, print, and colour images/line arts.
Ummmn... how about no.
No no no no no.
Apparently someone missed the memo on my images that 'unauthorized usage is prohibited'. This means my artwork isn't allowed to be used as line art unless I say so.
I'm going to safely assume this is just a website that does and auto search through dA (and other art sites) for anything relating to 'line art' or 'colouring page' and when it finds something it posts it without registering if it's a valid image to use or not.
In any case that is illegal in more ways that one. Lightly illegal but still... it violates copyrights on some levels.
As far as I can tell there are no viruses on this site and you can search by username to find various images. Granted it may only work if you have uploaded line art of some kind but otherwise your work may not be up there.
It's definitely not an independently run site for sure, any time you search a username it says -- "You are searching for _______ coloring pages and pictures. You can print this pictures and let your children coloring them. Kids love coloring ________ pictures!"
Either way I'm reporting the images and contacting the site to let them know my work is NOT allowed to be used for this purpose. There's no promise it'll do anything but hey, they give the option so... why not use it.
Ummmn, you may want to look up your username just in case... and report if you can telling them whether or not you allow your work to be used for colouring pages.
Again, the site appears to be pretty low key but still, it is violating copyrights in a fashion by taking things and allowing people to use them without permission from the original artist. Even images with watermarks that say not to do this.
There's no promise it will do much but it's worth a shot.
*sigh* Little did I know after I said "I don't care" this kind of bullshit would happen :XD: Good grief. You give an inch and people take a mile. Oh well, this is pretty heavy so I'll report it and I thought to let you all know about it too.
Good luck guys!

UPDATE: There are a few issues to disclose first: If you did post a line art that you labeled as 'free to use' then it's likely that word will be used against you.
Second: There is a way to contact the site -- imagixs.com/contact which I assume will enable you to file a copyright violation claim. However, there are no guarantees here... it depends if there's actual admins to the site... and that's not a promise either since it appears this site is using dA's 'more like this' option to find images by keywords rather than actual searches.
If you do report be thorough and civil about it. Do not go cussing or getting mad, you will probably not get any good results with that method.
Here is a template of the letter I sent the site::
Hello,
I am 'your dA username' from Deviantart.com and I noticed you have a few images of mine posted here on your site as printable and downloadable colouring pages. I would like to state that as the original artist of these images I do not allow my artwork to be used in such a fashion and I would appreciate it if you would remove my work from your image searches. I am willing and able to prove ownership of said images and will be able to provide such evidence if necessary.
Thank you in advance,
'your dA username' [date: --/--/----]
If necessary provide links to the images on YOUR dA as well as on the site to prove ownership. It's also probably a good idea to use an email that you're not afraid to get some spam on as your return email... I'm not sure how their return reply system works but it may be likely it'll send some spam. So don't use a main email!

you going to furfright?
Glad you were able to connect them back to a pay site. Getting that site closed down would be a good thing. What would be better would be a cheap pay site that commissioned art students as a form of work study. ^!^
