death of a family member

howdy yall. im not much in to posting about things that are sad but this means not to much not to be mentioned.
i got a call from my mom this afternoon. with news i was not at all ready to hear. that my dog sammy closed his eyes for the last time this morning. he passed on a the ripe old age of 19 years old. i feel ive lost my best friend and yet on the same side i know he is not suffering anymore.
i just wanted to throw this out there.
Ill miss you buddy. you brought many years of happiness to my life and you will never be forgotten.

Aww, I am extremely sad to hear this. Dogs are as every bit of a family member as the people in my mind. I've been there before and it was one of the hardest things to go through. Hope you feel better soon. 19 years is an amazing lifespan for the guy, you're lucky you had him for that long.

thanks for the kind words. yeah he live a long life that's for sure. though when i look abck on it. it seems only like a blink.

Sorry to hear about this buck, but as he brought you good times, you did the same for him, It is nice that you both had 19 years together. I know it hurts, but like you said, he isnt hurting anymore. Hang in there Buck, we love you dude. *hugs*
