Got a new Subaru
Well i finally broke down and bought myself a newer Subaru. well one year newer then my outback. its an 02 WRX Wagon. picked it up when i was down visiting my folks in Central Oregon. sadly im having to sell my outback to pay for it. but in the end i think it was a good investment. and plus i totally love having a turbo. Passing worries are now a thing of the past.

Just need a high flow downpipe, Accessport, throw a Stage II map in there and turn that thing into a beast! (for cheap too!)

yeah ive noticed that. it dont take much to really put out some power in those cars. im waiting till i get use to it. its unlike any other subaru i have ever owned. but man talk about putting the fun back in driving.

Yeup. Even though I went stage II (on a car that did 5.3 0-60 times from the factory), threw on bigger all terrain tires, roof rack, and lifted it......it still is a high performance machine on road, but can also take me anywhere I want to go off road. Subaru FTW!

hehe damn straight, right now im on a bigger set of tires. and finally got to install the sti swaybar ive been hording for like ever. god did that stiffen the ass end of that car way up

Lift off oversteer gets crazy the stiffer the rear sway bar you go. I had a 22mm Cobb (up from the 16mm stock). It turned the car scary twitchy, but so much fun. Could get the car completely sideways just by lifting off the gas at under 25 mph. Crazy tail happy. That sway bar is gone, way to twitchy as a daily driver. Not running any rear sway bar at the moment (the Cobb ripped off the lat link tabs)

Watch how much power you're putting through that transmission, dude. If you push more than 300hp then keep some money on hand because those things are glass.

already took care of that issue. last owner installed an 08 wrx transmission in it with the rear diff from an 05 wrx
