I knew it was going to fail! In One episode, KITT transformed into A Ford 4x4! KITT should be a speed series, not a muscle car. None of that show's previous seasons were muscle cars! I think using a Ford Mustang as KITT was The worst idea ever In the Knight Rider Genre! What were They Thinking?!

They were thinking "Gee, FORD sure is paying us a lot of money to use their car. How can we get more money out of them? I know..."

You know what makes a Mustang go really fast? One of those big stick-on wings they sell at Pep Boys. And underbody Neon in the shape of the show's logo.

LMAO!! it seems to work on all the little boy racer cars round here, some of them get up to 45mph!! honestly, 45mph!!!!!!!!

The series' writing is what sucks.

What i don't understand is how they can make a mess of it!? It's not rocket science, it's a modern take on a old TV show. I think the only thing i liked from the pilot was the crash at the end. With he car hitting Kitt? Very nicely done.

You know what makes me sick?

That shows like Knight Rider are marketable but shows like Jericho and Babylon Fields AREN'T.

SERIOUSLY what is not to like about either show? Jericho had a GREAT plot and GREAT actors and they decided.. well.. we will bring it back for a second season.. and then decided to end it.

Like one called "CUPID" about a guy in an institution thinking he was cupid..

OR that "Negotiation" one about a guy and girl that were dating and also "Negotiators"

or or .. an old one involving a "Catholic Congregation" that had to have a "ANAL Boss" working over them

Did you see Firefly? I was amazed Americans came up with something that good (no offence if you're American) but they kill it after one series..... I fell in love with it then found they'd killed it. It's made millions in dvd sales alone!

I'm from the UK so i have a outsider perspective, but if one network doesn't want to carry on making a show. Why not sell it to a smaller network? I bet most would kill for shows half as good as firefly.

Haven't seen jericho or babylon fields, so i can't comment on them.

Do Dexter and heroes count as good shows on major networks? I likes them

I actually managed to sit through a whole episode. The car was kinda cool in standard form, everything else reminded me of a mix between the first star trec and some really, God awful soap.

At least they learned from their last mistake and put a Ford into the mix , I'm just sorry it had to be represented like this.

I watched about 8 minutes of the first 'Ford' version and felt ill, though to be fair, I didn't get much farther through the FOX TV version of Dr Who.

They should rename the series Night Rider Reboot.

The new car features a big read button on the dashboard that reboots the series when pressed. That way, they can reboot it halfway the episode as a plot device.

Is the plot boring and uninteresting? Press the red button and "bang!" New actors, new plot, new car design... That would be fun.

Well, considering how lame the series is, probably anything would be fun. Like old ladies racing downhill in wheelchairs being chased by rabid hamsters.

Eh. They lost me after they lost the Trans-Am. That will be forever KITT to me.
