switch to a different medium for a while...

To explain my absence, it's an easy one.
I took up the ukulele recently. I thought it would be (because i know myself) a passing thing and I would play it for a few days and just go back to the way it was. But now I don't touch it unless I have an hour or two to commit because I can't seem to put it down! So every day after work, I will just jam away in the computer room, where I used to draw. It's way more productive at this point, but I will draw again soon.
As for art, unfortunately the only art I have been making lately is diagrams and floor plans of various types for different things (including my job, where I will execute a floor plan next week).
Also been working on christmas gifts, since most of mine are hand made. I'm going to be giving food, sewn items, paintings, and maybe a few other goodies this year. (Pinterest is an evil, EVIL creature).
Just generally having fun with various forms of creation. It's all good.
