Well....first of all....I'm surprized how much response my most recent update of bullshit got >.> ... ...79 different users-comments, not counting the replies by others?!
Somehow I feel the statement "An artist's popularity is inversely proportional to their drawing skills." somehow starts gaining truth when you considder that I didn't put any effort into the damn picture whatsoever...and most of the pictures I did put effort in don't get half as many comments when my own replies and possible discussions are scraped away >.>
Alright, so thank you very much for all the comments and I'll apologize for not answering to them personally but with that many and their nature of being rather short and similar, I feel this shold sufice for now
Ah well...enough with my scaredy little ego fearing for the lack of comments to my actual arts X3
I've been rather busy with a lot of things lately. I'm part of a number of projects now and am running a few of my own, including a colaborative effort between me and the awesome
snowroserivenstar that will hopefully be published for everyones pleasure :3
Apart fromt hat, I might be getting ajob soon, but wether or not they actually take me is questionable...we'll see...anyway, thanks again and keep enjoying my artings as it comes along =^-^=
Toodles!

FA+

You took a joke from gaming culture and gave it a visual form. I've noticed a lot of journals about new video games, so it doesn't surprise me that there's a fair crossover between furries and gamers.
Or maybe I'm over-analyzing this and there's just a lot of FA members who are fans of Zero Punctuation. :P
And yeah, there's a big crossover between furries and games. just look at all the game fan art produced by many people (some worse than other), Furry Master Chief conversions, Sonic stuff, just to name a few XD
Internet memes are a powerful thing and and Yahtzee is quickly adding to the internet vocabulary.
Currently, you and extvia are the two artists that (inspire me/keep making scream in my head) to get some drawing done, but real life keeps stopping me too. Hope you get your projects done, but I'm in no position to tell you to get a job.
und die ,die du kacke findest finden leute toll x3;
du gewöhnst dich dran <3
Gut das du einen job in aussicht hast, ist bei mir anderst, glaube nicht das ich bald arbeit haben werde :(

I've generally decided to take it as a sign that nothing is going badly and that nobody can find any significant flaws in whatever's been produced. ;)
Cont.; besides, mindless praise and ego-stroking is worthless compared to valid and constructive input if you ask me.
At AnthroCon I got a handful of curious passers-by looking at my art folder in the commons room, but nothing significant until I pulled out the Team Fortress 2 fanart. Then, like magic, people were literally lining up to get a look! I don't think it matters how much effort I put into any one picture versus another- it's just a game that a lot of folks were playing that they had on their minds.
Of course, the end result of all the attention is debatable. One good thing was that I started up a good conversation with Strype, an artist I always wanted to meet. One bad thing was that I got a page-long list of SteamIDs for players who either:
a) misspelled their own player name,
b) don't play when I do,
c) don't play any of the maps I like, or
d) all of the above
So all tolled, I made exactly 0 new buddies! Huzzah! What does it say about pandering to fads and fans? Mainly that it's fun to do, particularly to see if folks are paying attention, but not necessarily rewarding or good for the soul.
