I can’t draw to save my life and I’ve only really put Rip in one story that I gave to a friend as a gag gift and which is not fit for public consumption. >///>

Does your character physically resemble you in any way?
Er….yes, I am a totally hot and ripped surfer dude and not a chubby nerd at all.
What trait about your character is the most like you?
His sweet disposition and totally twisted sense of humor
What trait about your character is the least like you?
His fit surfer bod. Nothing at all like my pudgy country boy exterior.
Does your character have something you've always wanted? Do they do anything you've always wanted to do?
Another life. Rip lives in a metropolitan beach-side resort town where he has the freedom to live his life without restrictions. Nothing like my hometown.
Did your character originate in someone else's fictional universe? If so, whose?
Nope, Rip is entirely my creation. I was getting a bit tired of my old fantasy character Justice so on a whim I decided to make the most improbably character I could think of. A purple kangaroo/vampire bat hybrid who night was the result.
Is your character presently still a part of that universe?
Rip still resides in the same slice-o-life universe I dreamed up for him.
How did you come up with the qualities of your character?
While my old character Justice was a representation of all my more noble qualities and my own disappointment at not living up to my own expectations, Rip is a representation of my happy-go-lucky side. He’s goofy, adventurous, horny, a bit of a kid, and absolutely an awesome friend to have.
Did any historical figures, fictional figures, or people you know/knew influence your character?
Not particularly. My cousin gave me a Silver Surfer comic when I was a kid so I’ve always wanted to have a surfer character. Rip seemed like a fine candidate.
What physical/mental changes has your character gone through since its creation?
Well…..funny story. The question was asked a while back, “Is Rip purple EVERYWHERE?” After careful deliberation I have decided…yes…yes, he is.
If your character was a real person you knew, how well do you think you'd get along with them?
I think that’s I’d love to have Rip as a friend but I’d probably also worry that I wasn’t cool enough to hang with him.
What is your character's biggest vice?
Probably tasting the blood of his dates. And sex. And comic books. And coffee ice cream. Why does he have to choose a vice?! Can’t he love them all equally?! T^T
What would someone find if they looked through your character's pack (or purse, bundle, backpack, pocket, etc)?
If someone jumped Rip while he was on campus and went through his pockets and pack they would probably find –
Pack: some biology textbooks, a granola bar, a bottle of water, a camera, a random sci-fi/fantasy novel
Pockets: Breath mints, a comb, a wallet with very little money and a condom (ribbed and tropical citrus flavored)
What is one thing your character will never, ever, EVER do?
Do drugs. His body is a temple. A temple full of barbecue, naked people and lots of sangria.
And lastly, if you had to write an ending for your character and never use them again, what would the ending be like? Happily ever after? Blaze of glory? Fate catching up to them?
I’m not really sure. Part of me wants to have him travel and do conservation work with his cousin Crush but another part of me wants him to settle down with someone nice and maybe have a few kids. Maybe his end lies somewhere in between.

As for the blood thing, he is part vampire bat. He's not a blood sucking psycho but lets just say that his dates can come away with some really gnarly hickies.
