How did you and your SO start your relationship?

this might be something fun to talk about :) im feeling sentimental, surely someone else is too.
how did you and your sig.other end up together?
Stage 1 of my dating approach; about a year and a half ago, I was waaayyyy too drunk off of Kraken one night, hanging out with the guys, and ended up puking peanut skins (yeah...i know, why just the skins?) for a good 2 hours. My now current partner, took post outside of the bathroom door...reading a book, making sure i was okay. i came out about a century later, swearing i'd never eat peanuts again. he put me into his friends bed, stayed with me until i fell asleep. I woke up in bed with two other friends at 5am, with a "WTF mate?" i shuffled into the living room, and crawled into sofa with my night in shining Armour. startled the hell out of him....took my pants off, and at the moment, when he wrapped his arms around me i thought everything could be okay now. not just because i was done being white girl wasted, or already feeling the hangover. it was more of a mutual, silent agreement to building something together. he got morning wood the next day. and i never let him live it down.
stage 2 is long and you don't care about that.
stage 3 ....took my clothes off.
and hes been the linchpin of my sanity ever since.
so i want to hear your cute, silly, or just plain weird love stories on how you and your boo got together :)

me and my girlfriend were actually just friends before we made things official, after I got dumped by my ex boyfriend, who she was also friends with , I thought I'd never talk to her again because I was out of that group of friends now, and I was actually more sad about not being able to see her than being dumped. But about a month later she messaged me on facebook saying she had dumped her boyfriend because she liked me more and I sorta freaked out because shes super cute and I really didn't feel like I was good enough for her, but we've been together for almost 6 months now and I'm really happy :)
(there are some issues with her parents hating me though :( they're quite homophobic and don't approve that we love each other)
ah...parents. well darlin, i dated a girl for a while too...and i had to keep reminding myself that i was dating HER, not her parents; what they thought of me shouldn't matter, as long as my girl was safe and okay. So pay no mind to their small minds, if you make her happy, and she you, then thats whats important :)
same sex relationships can be tough, because of how society views them, but they are rewarding and you are able to learn and grow so much!

We actually didn't like each other until we got to talk privately for the first time (because I had a problem I needed help with) and since then he's completely turned my life around! It's actually because of him that I became more accepting of myself as a furry, and also how I got to go to Europe for the first time :)
Almost 3 years later and we're still going strong~
thats awesome, isn't it great when things turn out completely the opposite to what you wanted...and its the best thing evar? xD

Aaaaaaand, over a year and a half later, we are still inseperable. :3
But our relationship is full of stuff like that still, only now it isn't so awkward, just silly.
