so heres my story about an issue that has been going on for several years. Now, i am a patient person, but when my friend ("Titan Wolf") commissioned a certain "husky" in 2008/09, my patience would be put to the test. We paid her over $1000 for 2 half suits, and were promised completion within 3 months. 3 months went by...no suits. asked again, got a bull shit excuse. in fact over the next few years we would receive a bunch of bullshit excuses like "My dog ate the head, need to refoam" "got bit by a rattle snake, in the hospital, almost died" "sent them but i think they were lost in the mail" Shortly after we paid, all of a sudden shes bragging about her new pure bred husky puppy, and new shiny car. kind of fishy right? we tried to be understanding. she has kids, they take up time, i get that. But this situation is ridiculous.
and still continues to this day, with more excuses, its almost pathological. She had she she had no time to spare but keeps taking on new projects. and now usually ignores my messages.
so. thoughts. advice? thanks for the vent.

~edit~ sent her a note, its been opened but no reply. Will be offering a reasonable and forgiving ultimatum tomorrow if i don't hear back by tonight, of either 70% refund, completion within 3 months, or she'll hear it from a judge (as i understand it, refunds rewarded by court can be more than 100% of the original sum...at least thats the case with multiple types of security deposits)
