Happy "Gotcha Day" Twinkies!
So I'm a day late with posting this, I had some issues yesterday and I forgot to do it.
2 years ago today I drove the hour to get my "children". Looking back, I shouldn't of done it. I wasn't ready for a dog, much less 2! I didn't know it at the time, but I was in a failing relationship. My housing was in no way even close to stable and I was working a part time job. But I wouldn't change getting them for the world. They are my life. They have helped me through so many things, a nasty break up, living with drug dealers that wanted to rape me. We've been through 4 different places, 3 MASSIVE chocolate ingestions and many other scary issues. And each time they are there for me. They are my family. The only stable thing in my life. People think I'm crazy because I won't give them up. I'd rather live in my truck with them than have to give them to someone else. Saleen is my shadow, always looking to me for comfort. Shelby is the rebel, and tests me every chance she gets. These 2 fluffy butts are the most important thing in my life. I know with some major changes coming to my life soon I'll need them more than ever. I love them more than anything and I hope to have them for many more years.
