April Fools Day.

April Fools' Day (sometimes called All Fools' Day) is an informal holiday celebrated every year on April 1. The day is not a national holiday in any country, but it is widely recognized and celebrated as a day when people play practical jokes and hoaxes on each other, called April fools. Hoax stories are also often found in the press and media on this day. ((Taken from Wikipedia))
Personally, I think any holiday that gets its notoriety by pulling pranks on unsuspecting victims shouldn't be celebrated at all. It's even worse when you are trying to do something important to you, whether it be your job or your personal pleasure, only to come to the realization that you had been led on.
My dad woke me up today, saying someone was at the door for me, and I got up way too quickly, thus resulting in a massive headache. I got downstairs, only to realize that it was an April Fools joke... hilarious... now I have a headache to deal with.
Long story short, April Fools day, which thrives on jokes and hoaxes, is in and of itself the biggest joke of all. Ironic, right?
Carry on.
