Thats not the point though Volcan. To me holiday's means being with family and enjoying something that happens only once a year. After I was kicked from my home, 3 years ago, being on my own has been a freedom to me. And yet my family misses me. But when I go to see them I'm only there for maybe a half hour then I decide to leave. Feel like my welcome was only appreated by my dogs and my neice and older sister. To me they are the only family I have left back home. And it hurts every year that I have to put up with the same thing over and over again.

I see... I suppose that I'd feel that way too if I was in your position. But hey, I've always been good at emotional support. If you need someone to talk to, I'm alway willing to listen to you.

I know what you mean... I've been kind of drifting apart from my family, especially Mom's side.

Which makes it hard for me because my parents have bought me plane tickets to see both of them, and I'm going to be pretty much getting out of bed immediately on Christmas morning and making a brutal 6,000 mile figure 8 across the country.

My mate is really sad and upset because he's going to be all alone, and I'm uncomfortable with seeing my mother again and upset with her because she gave Kobi absolutely NO considerations and pretended he didn't even exist when trying to figure out her plans.

I still can't wrap my head around how that happens. I remember when this time of year was about visiting family. Now it's more about grabbing your shit and moving on.

I'm celebrating the only ways I know how, and by golly it's just going sour. I can't have a real tree, can't enjoy it with the family like I used to, and the only real Christmas I feel is when I go and see my father. This year however I have a big gift to give and I plan on seeing it through.

Well enjoy the time that you spend with the people that you can hang with for as long as you can. Who knows? I've had a Christmas miracle happen (read my latest journal entry) maybe one is in store for you too. *hugs and nuzzles you*

Trust me your in the same boat with me. I am not even being invited to none of my family and friends X-mas thing and this has been going on for a long time now. So me and X-mas. Lets say this I wish it never existed including Thanksgiving I guess that is what every one calls it. There is a story behind all this to so if anyone is interested in knowing what happen just let me know.

I'm the same case as u man. unfortunately for me, i still live with them. *groan* but thier family right? so we just gotta make do with what we have man=)

Tiggy? You know, your not the only kitty around experincing that kind of things. Right now, I'm sitting in a small apartment, with my eleven budgies and my boyfriend and is all due for my gramps doesn't get that I'm deadly allergic to cat fur (I all most passed away last year because of a cat). For that reason, I have non of my families around.

But you know what? I don't care, because I know how to cook up a good dinner and I enjoy my wonderful pets chirping away in our bedroom because they love when we're happy and I'm just glad that the person I love the most in my life is right here with me to share this special time of year with me.

I'm telling you, do the same. Appriciate you got your boyfriend around and you say your a super cook in the kitchen, you got all what any person could ask for middle of christmas, you should be a very happy tiger, people would envy both of us for being able to do this stuff on our own *hugs*.
