Final game update! *TOOOOOOOOOT*
Welp, that's it. Final update *TOOOOOOT*! I had definitely intended to add more actual content, and in that I've definitely failed. I just can't find the time or energy anymore and this past week has been especially busy. But I've at least added the ability to cheat! I'd once again like to thank everyone for the support. I definitely couldn't have gotten this far without you! It's been a long two years, and I think on the whole I've definitely enjoyed it. I've definitely gotten to meet a lot of new and interesting people and for that I'll always be thankful. I've also met a lot of awful people, but it's the internet, so what are you gonna do? Since I think there are a lot of questions that I think will be asked frequently, here's an faq! I'll probably add on to it if I more questions come up, but this should hopefully answer most of them.
Q1: Do you plan on updating this game ever again?
A1: I'm not planning on it, but at some point I might, but I wouldn't guarantee it. It probably wouldn't be for almost a year even if I do.
Q2: When's the next update?
A2: I will literally never have an answer to this question. Not even on the day I update will I answer this question.
Q3: Can somebody else take over the game?
A3: No. That requires somebody who is both willing and able to develop a game, and wants to work on someone else's game, and wants to work on this one specifically, and has the time to work on it, and yet doesn't already have one of their own they're working on, and I don't know how many of those people exist. Secondary to this, letting someone else develop it means that if I ever do want to work on it again then I can't really just take it back from them when I feel like it. Tertiary to this, it doesn't really help me at all, which is kind of selfish, but on the other hand, so what. Quadratically, how do I decide who to let take over? And what happens if they don't update in a couple of months, do I give it to someone else? What happens if a better qualified person comes along later? What happens when I let someone take over and I don't like the direction they take with it? This could go on for several more paragraphs. And while it might seem like a totally awesome idea, I mostly foresee somebody updating for 2 months and then never touching it again. So in short; No, I won't be letting anybody else take over.
Q4: Will you place the code publicly online?
A4: Yes. Although as I said before, it won't have any of the actual content of the game. It'll just be the engine for it with basically everything else stripped out. For the reason for this, see A3, but moreso. But I'm certainly glad to help facilitate other people working on their own projects. But I don't want anybody taking this as an excuse to rebuild the original game. While crowdsourcing seems really sweet, it's largely a buzzword that doesn't have much applicability to such a small project, in addition to all the problems in A3.
Q5: Can you teach me how to code.
A5: Nnnnnnnnno. I don't even particularly know how to code myself, and that's after dedicating a couple dozen hours just specifically learning on how to code. So if you can't find the answer to your question with a couple minutes of googling, then I won't be able to help you either. If you don't already know how to code, then I won't be much help.
Q6: Can you tell me how your code works?
Q6: That I actually can answer, as far as the question specifically pertains to how/why I coded some part of my game in a certain way. Although still, I can't really answer any questions about how coding works in general. I'll try to comment it well enough that you hopefully won't need much direction.
Q7: How long until you post the code online?
A7a: I don't really know. I expect it'll be a pretty easy process, so probably in the next month or so. It depends on how easy it is to clean up and comment properly.
A7b: I will literally never have an answer to this question.
Q8: Can we use the engine code to remake the original game?
A8: I already answered this, but to be more concise, no. Unless you really hate me I guess, but even then, no.
Q9: Why didn't you respond to my correspondence?
A9a: There are many many answers to this question, none of them that I'm proud of.
A9b: A lot of the time I just forget, especially with notes which don't leave any kind of indicator after I read them.
A9c: A lot of times I just don't know what to say ¯\_(0_0)_/¯
A9e: Sometimes it takes a long time for me to think of a response, and then I feel weird about responding weeks after the fact so, I don't.
A9f: Sometimes I can't think of a polite thing to say, so I don't.
Q10: Will you still be taking suggestions?
A10: Uhhhhhhh, no? I'm still happy to read them, but obviously I won't be adding them to the game at any point in the near future, if at all. So I certainly can't stop you, and I'm definitely always glad to read submissions, but I won't actually be responding to/discussing any correspondence involving additions to the game.
Q11: Are you still accepting donations?
A11: I don't know... no? Obviously I like money, but I don't want people to get it in their head that if they throw enough money at me then I'll have to update. So basically, no, I don't want any more donations, but I appreciate the thought :D
Q12: Will you still be on FA?
A12: Yes, I don't really plan on going anywhere and I don't plan on deleting any of my submissions. The previous version of the game will be moved to scraps, and I'll probably respond to comments less. "What's that? Even less responses to comments?" Unfortunately, yes. I really want to respond to them all, but being sociable in any context takes a lot out of me psychologically and I just can't keep up with it any more, I'm sorry to say :(
Q13: Do you plan on doing any other projects?
A13: Nope. If I ever find the energy to work on a project, it'll be this one anyway. But no, I don't actually plan on submitting anything of my own for at least a good long while. I might get back into commissioning people again, but who know s how that'll turn out.

Just gotta say, thi has been a very very anticipated game for me. I'm nothing but happy that it reached the point it did today.
What, amazes me though is the fact you just up and started on this on a whim, right? Correct me if I'm wrong. But, this, if I recall, was just a game you made out of boredom, which quickly escalated to a massively popular thing here for massive furs.
The fact you took it this far just from its start as a project with the mission statement of "I'm bored, let's make a thing" is amazing.
TL;DR- Thanks for this kickass game. Glad you made it.
Good luck on your future plans bro ^.^
We can't afford publicity off-site. God knows what Forces of the Internet could smite us down.
Use this one <3
Do I hope you pick it up again someday? Yeah, again, be lying if I said otherwise. Between this and the last journal, though, sounds like you're doing the right thing for yourself. Thank you for all the effort you gave it. It must have been a lot to for someone to do in their free time.
but where is the update list though?
Thanks for the fun times, dude.
Thank you for the game, and any future updates you may or may not add.
It's safe to say I'm a little gutted I never had time to write up an encounter to send way. x)
And, naturally, a gratitude is in order for this curtain call event that sealed this exceptional project with all the dignity and aplomb that it rightly deserved - be it until its future revival, or for good. In either case, the game will continue to entertain scores upon scores of people, and it has been doing all this time, and for that you need to be further celebrated.
Additional apologies for my personal failings in delivering on my still-born promises.
Wherever your acclaimed skills and talents would be requited in the future, may the intersection of chances result in the best outcome for your future endeavours !
Oh well. -_-
One question that I know is always gonna nag at me. What exactly is causing all the mass fattening in this little world? It was made clear its kind of a localized thing...so who/what's doing it?
i hate seeing enything this good being unfinished it is incredibly frustrating!
I love your game and i can see that it has potential too be even better! please come back to work on it!
you could add a place that has macros and or micros!
Working on the game didn't entertain me anymore, so I stopped making it. There's no outside influence that's going to change that. But I'm glad you liked the game!
