I get the joke, and it's pretty funny, but I'd probably appreciate having legit watchers on my account for art's sake.

There's no guarantee even legitimate people who watch you will remain on the site indefinitely. You're going to have watchers who don't view art and there's not a lot you can do about it.

IMO, gag accounts are a one-note punchline. Like having John F. Kennedy add me on FurAffinity. I'd rather take the inactive watcher who probably did one or two things in a span of eight months or three years; it softens the blow of having a wasted account.
