The trial is about to end

Soon the trial to sentence the man who killed my 4 dogs and boyfriend will be over.
I did really well on the stand, managed to hold most of the tears back in order to speak, others in the crowd cried for me. Kiry was there to help me out and stay calm, she is such a good service dog, she not only helped me but my friends and family that day too.
The trial going on has brought back so much hurt.
Loosing my 4 four girls like that in the hit an run and all at once was really hard on me, they where my passion, my everyday dedication, my fur kids. Winry the red with no tail was my soul dog and service dog. And then when my love Hari too passed away my already broken heart crumbled, he was my hope, all I had left. But he hated it when ever I was upset and only wanted my happiness so I pulled my self together, but it's hard some days, I miss them all so much, its not right that such young lives got cut short do to another man's poor choices in life. It took me 9months to walk again, took even longer to walk right, and even longer to jog again. My sprite is like my favorite breed the ACD, kick me down, I'm just going to get right back up and keep on going no mater how hard it is.

GUILTY GUILTY GUILTY on all charges!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The man that killed my 4 dogs and Hari has been charged guilty on all accounts, just got back from the court house, I'm so happy about this, justice for all of us, and that man will be locked away for a very long time unable to kill other inocident loved ones again!!!!

You are so strong, and it is showing through your great recovery. Your strength is indeed something I have been looking up to!
the important thing is for him to be denied the opportunity to repeat the offense.
that is all any system can do that can accomplish anything positive.
the real problem i see is the lack of an infrastructure where a person not responsible enough to drive shouldn't have to be allowed to.
where the mobility of anyone shouldn't have to be dependent on their having to drive and own a car to drive.
situations where a person like that has to drive result from a lot of short sightedness all around.
i'm not blaming your feelings, but they're not a solution and solutions are possible.
absolutely this person should never be allowed near a car again, but why should anyone have HAD to be in the first place.
if people didn't HAVE to drive, something like this would not have happened, or at least have been a very great deal less likely to.
wherever there is a wrong, there is usually a solution that could have prevented it, or made it less likely to happen.
too often the only reason such solutions aren't there, are ideological and economic fanatacism.
i'm sorry if i seem to anyone to be saying the wrong thing, but whenever i see something like this wrong that was done happen, that is invariably the way i can't help thinking about it.
for what its worth, nothing made me happier then to see the unicorn dance.
there's really a whole spectrum of very gratifying and attractive alternatives. and that is not to exclude beasts of burden and human powered vehicles either. but the transportation landscape i'm envisioning involves small form factor rail vehicles, of car-like proportions, on correspondingly reduced form factor guide-way structures. powered by clean and safe forms of energy collection, storage and transmission. replacing our grids of pavement with park-like spaces and safe, civilized and even enticing places to walk and bring nonhuman friends as well.
not only is a safer environment for all life forms, by this means created, but a social environment in which no one, not in a condition to operate a vehicle of any kind, would ever have to.
My heart goes out to you. If there's ever anything I can do to help ease some pain in a down moment or maybe bring a smile to your face...not saying this out of pity or anything like that you just seem like a really decent person, and I could always use a few more decent people in my life.
While it won't be able to change what has happened I hope that man does get the punishment he deserves
