Man responsible for the deaths
Paul Walden the man responsible for mutilating my leg, killing my 4 dogs and boyfriend Elden has been sentenced 25 years-to life in prison!!!
With no bail or parole
I am happy it's all over now and that he got the max for what he had done, but that will never change our broken hearts. Although knowing he is going to be locked away that long unable to harm others the same way is comforting in its own way.
It also makes me happy knowing he really hates prison and he gets to spend most of his remaining life in there

I hope he never gets out of prison alive- as mean as that sounds. They should introduce a law stating that f somebody was to kill someone, they should be killed the same way...
Time to go on living life! :)
He will likely rot in prison, and unspeakable things will happen to him there (I have heard prison stories from convicts).
He was given his rightful punishment, and more will come with time.
He had a choice, a fucking choice, get drunk and drive or get a taxi. He was on his last chance to make that choice, now his mental stance has to deal with that issue for 25+ years. Just stuck in that mental loop is FAR worse than a slow bleeding death.
Then there are people like you, you might need to go to a therapist if you want someone else to bleed. Sure, and eye for an eye, but it's not YOUR eye. Only Gem, or the family of Harrison, would have that choice, NOT YOU.
you're so strong and beautiful. I wish you the best for your future.
You've been by far one of the strongest people I've ever gotten to know, if only by proxy on here and brought your suiting and story, and I can easily say if I'd been in the same spot, I doubt I would've handled it with as much strength and graces as you have. *HUGS*
Next task is to get that crosswalk and road safe over there. Yikes.
Also it seems like everyone is confused about his sentence. He was not given 25 years, everyone.
The maximum was 25 TO LIFE. No bail. No parole.
LIFE in prison. A lot can happen to someone in there in 25 years.
The only thing that would've been better would be if he was sentenced to death.
glad that this is all over for ya as long as arduous as it's been too.
To anyone who drinks and might consider driving while drunk, remember that as this particular situation proves, drunk driving is not just about YOU, you're putting other people's lives at risk when you do it. DON'T FUCKING DO IT! I can't believe we still need to tell people to not drink and drive. I understood that it was bad and why it was bad when I was in elementary school. The fact that some ADULTS still don't get it is baffling to me and angers me deeply.
I'm so sorry that some careless selfish idiot took the lives of someone you loved and caused you so much grief. I can't even begin to imagine the sort of hell you must have gone through. I wish you all the best in your healing process.
