I don't know. I've heard some pretty mixed stories here.
I know you're trying to be a nice guy, but sometimes you can be a nice guy to the wrong person who ends up taking advantage of you. That's how life works. Some of us aren't trying to be bad friends to you, but rather real friends who are trying to help you before you can be taken advantage of.

Sometimes friends have to say negative things, but you can always count on TRUE friends to say the RIGHT things.

I would rather hear only the sides that seemed to have the most problems but from what I have read and heard I am only trusting one story. He wasn't even trying to take advantage of me. I know when someone tries something stupid wit me. Body language, tone of voice, facial features, eye movement. I've constantly tested my family all the time and I discovered the liars.

I ain't stupid. I look ahead and come up with ideas and plans. A tiger always plans ahead. But I know Allan can see it well that I'm being a true friend.

This is true, but you can't read body language or tone on the Internet or IMs or the like. Unless this is a real life situation, but I've read this as a series of online comunication.

I just hope he's being straight with you. Nothing's worse than having true friendship taken advantage of.

A true friend will stand by their friend, even if they wrong them.

Blazger understands this because he's been on both sides before.

Sounds like a lot has happened recently. I'm a bit sorry that I missed what ever it was I missed. I hope I'm not one of the people your angry at. If there's some way I can be of use through a conversation feel free to let me know, I'm a good listener.

No your not one of then hun. the ones I'm upset at are the ones who posted rude comments in the other journal that I had to delete.

*shrugs* If I had the money to support people that are down in cash, I have friends I actually know that need it more. As it stands, I'm technically in the negative myself, but I'll either save myself from debt or I'll drown in it, regardless I brought it on myself.

There are so many out there without jobs or who don't have money, yet these are the ones who go to conventions, acquire fursuits and fill their galleries with fresh daily commissions.

Its akin to people on welfare buying 60" TVs and beautiful cars.

These are people who abuse our good faith through messed up priorities, then come crying to us when it bites them on the ass.

But it is nice to live on other people's dimes. Just ask DiveFox.

I personally ignored Blazger's last journal because of the fact that Allan ALWAYS has commissions of his character, and an oversized penis (compensating for what he actually has, perhaps?) to post regularly. I commend you for outwardly stating what I wanted to, but was too polite to.

I personally have money, but I have personal bills. Gas, Water, Electric, Student loan payments, Gas for my car, ect. That is why I do not commission more than what I know I can spare from time to time.

Bout the same possibly why people give me commissions. They like my characters. Or art was purchased maybe months or years ago and the artist is JUST getting around to it. I mean truth be told, I have 5 pieces of art that I am HOPEfully getting from one artist but I paid him 3 years ago. I've had to threaten him constantly for my money back at the next con. You remember dude I told ya one time.

Everyone will have an opinion, especially those who see a steady stream of commissionwork from someone who is allegedly financially burdened. Those people will cry foul because that's how we see it.

I certainly hope a conversation with you has straightened his priorities out and made him realize that furry is a low priority when compared against work, house, transportation, etc. Real life is far more important than pretending you're a wolf, a dragon, a tiger or a fox.

I do have my ways to discuss matters with others. Which is why in one journal I asked everyone if I should of became a therpist. I've helped alot of people in the past few years. Mundane and furry alike and relationships, money problems, or jobs have all been taken care of and now their lives are happier. Having talked to Allan I know what I spoke to him about will work and he'll bite down and get what needs to be done. The last post I had but since I deleted it due to everyone being rude, but I had only asked those who CAN give a little would be generous enough to maybe spare a dollar or something.

Hell after what I have been through and since I have a new life where I'm living I'm gonna be doing the right thing and paying back all those who have helped me last year. And I'm sticking to this promise.

Not to burst the ego bubble, but I'm sure a lot of them got themselves straightened out without your help.
The person you should have been helping was you. You've been in a lot of situations lately and its only the past month or so that youve gotten yourself straightened out. And you still have a bit to go. New job, revised budget, reliable transportation.

You have an awful lot of faith in Allan here and I wish I could say everyone else feels the same way.
What happens if he doesn't change? You've staked your good word on it.

As my title of this says. I tried.........its doesn't hurt to try. And I have helped others out even if they dind't ask but I try to understand if something was from miscommunication. You can even ask  tora about how I've helped him and how much better things have gotten.

Sadly, I've tried to be faithful to some
of my friends, many of them either
choose to take an advantage over me
or simply don't listen or care enough.

Even then so, I try being a good friend.

This being my opinion and everything;
I've already helped  Allan just
recently, I've helped  Blazger
in the past, so my point is drawing
towards a person-on-person basis -
meaning I'll try helping "X" person
at least once, for show of good faith.

I don't like the idea of Allan churning
out new commissions or whatever
every time I swish my tail, but I don't
really voice my thoughts about that.
That's his brigade, so once his help
is diminished, It'll be on him, not us.

And I thank you for helping me at least Zander. I intend to do the same for you for what you have done to help me. I don't know WHEN I will be able to help but I'm going to none the less. Those who have helped ALLAN on the other hand I'm sure he does thank them greatly. But I had a good long convo wit the guy and hopefully things will get better.

Though, I sometimes act like a tough guy and don't like to pry, but I hide that because I don't want to show weakness. But, I do have a soft heart and I do like to help people when they needed it. :) I do think I'm a good person.
