When you submit flashes, you have to provide a thumbnail, I think... Not sure.

Not a flash. It's a bug in displaying GIFs.

You do know they put up a warning about it when you upload a flash? owo

Any GIF that i upload ends up having that problem. I probably should have uploaded it as a flash instead.

Eh gifs are old hat anyways... though I don't think FA can handle APNGs either.

This place is made out of cardboard paper.

Why not just manually create a thumbnail out of one of the frames?

Doesn't work. It always tries to overwrite it with a portion of a frame, hence why it came out as just one pixel, no matter what I did.

FA had this problem for a long time, it happened after they change how thumbnails work, for some odd reason if people set their thumbnail size to be larger than 100 it bugs out.

I think if you make the last frame non-transparent (if your software supports that) FA should show it right.

I was actually trying to do that but I'd have to probably go through GIMP, not Photoshop, which I didn't have at the moment. Didn't know it only had the be the last frame however.

I think it's that it basically just takes the last frame (top layer) as the thumbnail. I usually use GIMP to make my GIFs, so it's easy enough to do.

I think if you upload just a still image first, and then replace the submission file with the actual gif and uncheck the "rebuild thumbnails" checkbox it might not fuck up the thumbnails. Maybe.

I had the same freaking problem every rime, last try was over a month ago making a few of those japanese emote things, just looked like to randon disembodied boobs, even with a custom thumbnail.
