Just dogecoin? or do you take alternate methods?

Yeah, I'm just looking for a few bits of dogecoin just to have on hand for shits and giggles.

I only have DOGE in Robinhood, is there a way to send them to you? I know crypto works differently there :T

Robinhood doesn't have a way for you to trade them. You essentially don't actually own them with robinhood since they're never in a crypto wallet you can access. You need a dogecoin wallet and to buy some from a broker such as Kraken or Coinbase.

Yeah, that's one reason I wanted Doge directly. Apps like Robinhood really only let you hold onto them or sell/buy. A real wallet is a little bit less convenient since you'd have to go through the trouble of finding some way to trade for dollars if you ever wanted to cash out, but the coins are yours to spend/collect as you see fit.

I had a thumb drive with my bitcoin wallet years ago, there wasn't much in it like maybe $10 or something it'd be nice if I could find it. I put it somewhere safe so I'd never lose it :T

Technically I'm sacrificing getting paid using a more convenient currency. I can easily spend $20, but it's a little harder to spend Doge.
