Why does this group exist?
Given the specific nature of a niche part of a niche fetish, it may seem kind of strange to dedicate a FurAffinity group to it.
That said, the founders of this group encountered a trend wherein some users come across fatal vore material and raise a stink about it, often calling those who create it bad people or sick in the head. We're not, of course. Not more than anyone from any other walk of life. Pretty much the same kinds of demographics as everywhere else.
Now, this isn't a huge problem. It only happens now and then, and even when it does happen, it's often just trolls looking to get a rise out of people. However, when it does happen and the person is genuine, we would like this page to be a resource to point to for anyone who feels like they may need a hand in dealing with these kinds of situations. Over time,
samanthaweltzin, and possibly the other admins, will post journals describing their experiences and how they've handled situations, as well as what seems to work often and what seems not to work. Likewise, you might see some submissions, humorous or otherwise, about various situations involving fatal vore's reception. Or not. Depends on motivation. XD
Barring the whole "dealing with complainers" dynamic, of course, this group is also meant to just be able to identify each other at a glance, whether you're looking for people of like minds or of like interests. Sort of a quick hint at what your gallery contains for anyone interested.
The group could also go around favoriting choice pieces of fatal vore, but...ugh. There's just so much out there, it'd be a major pain.
Anyway, that's the basic rundown of what this group's here for. If you've got suggestions, feel free to comment on this journal or drop a PM.

FA+

I say this because I'm sure there are plenty of artists out there, myself included, who would love the extra platform for gaining notice. The niche already has some huge names and others can find it difficult to grow under so many shadows. The FA search engine hardly helps this.
Just a thought.

Like have a link for the journal on the main page and have the journal dictate rules what to add in comments for when searching for RP partners such as defining what they'd want.
That way it's defined well and everyone knows what they're getting into.
Thanks and very nice group by the way!
The purpose of this group doesn't really include being a hub for RPers. It's more for people to identify themselves on their own page with something that some folks find controversial. We aren't going to stop people from seeking RPs using our shouts, but we don't feel it's our place to dictate rules for RPers or to provide a forum for "Seeking RP" threads, since that's not the stated purpose of the group. Thanks for the suggestion, though!
