tenka sent a note with this recently. With permission, reposting here because it's interesting.It just clicked that the likeness between sex and vore is that we can feel hunger for both eating and fucking. People like being wanted by the bodies of others, and deep innate ancient desires are sexier than ecologically conditional ones, "Screw the rules I need you!" vs "It would benefit both our families if we were together."
It's pleasant to feel needed, appreciated, special, (to someone's taste) and I think it's a lot easier to ignore the repercussions of your or someone else's decisions when your or their body hungers for those decisions.
Just like the way our bodies' hungers can cause us to feel justified in creating more life, our bodies' hungers can cause us to accept ending lives, even our own. I've meditated a lot on the connection between living and dying, I feel pretty confident that neither is inherently good or bad, and that if we want to justify ending or creating life we have to reach for answers outside of ourselves, but I digress...
Vore and sex are both activities with biologically explainable reasons for wanting, those reasons may be many and are different for everyone, but I think fetishists on both sides can usually agree that it's appealing for someone else's body to want yours (or vice versa) regardless of their higher reasoning.
Feelings are fun to discuss, but let's all remember that we can't rationalize action with just our own feelings, at least not when it would effect anyone else. That's why fantasy is King, everything can be morally equal when we're pretending.
And yes I've just likened fatal vore fantasies to pregnancy fantasies, condoms are the vanilla sex crowd's soft vore!
Kind of a no-brain-er to be honest.
I just wish people were more involved and committed to what they put themselves into. The idea and the reality of things are two different things.
On another note I really think (my own opinion, take it with salt) that the kink is rather dead and the lack of any realism, passion, and perspective is killing it more and more. I personally find a gem once every few months these days, but nothing worth saving for the long term to remember.
