If I had to guess, it's because you missed the minor detail of updating Quest to 5.5.1 since I updated Gineb to be compatible with that version.

noticed a few new options for Kera •‿• but also sleeping seems to give this error now " Error running script: Error compiling expression 'time > 24': Unknown object or variable 'time' "

Yeah, I just figured out what's wrong with that. I'll upload a hotfix later tomorrow when I have some time.

The dire wolf recovers from battles, but this doesn't seem to apply to other followers. Additionally, losing to the dire wolf will always leave you outside the ranch, instead of where you were when the fight ended. I also don't seem to be able to gain experience when I win a fight.

Still, I'm happy to see that this project is being updated! Here's hoping for more macro/micro shenanigans in the future

Experience is a bit bugged at the moment, as is a lot of other things. I'll definitely look into more of those bugs though!

So it won't work with 5.4.1 if I choose to DL this latest update?

Unfortunately not. You'll have to update Quest, but it's for the better.

erm I'm having a problem with the in browser play, not all of the text for a dark and troubling dream loads up, do I just have to keep loading it until it works, or could I get some info of the actions I could take?

That sort of bug is why I don't recommend playing it in the browser. The web version has a problem where if you hit enter too quickly when the 'continue' prompt is showing up is does not show any additional text. Best bet is to just type 'look' or 'l' and see what room you wound up in.

well got past it, though now I am curious about the lust mechanic, thanks for the advice, I'll call it a night though, just got the dire wolf.

ummm, does the password function work on the browser version, I can't seem to find what part of those three massive lines from the save book it is.

Saving is done by using the save book. You just copy the save password with ctrl+C. To load the save password, you just talk to Voxren during character creation.

yeah, up and downloaded quest, so I can save and load through that instead of just passwords, but thanks for the info again! I'm rather liking this so far, can't wait to give Lionel a try.
