yeah, I wish I could draw/animate. I have limited ability(and patience) to do slide by slide animations but doing at least 24 of those every second for 60+ seconds doesn't sound appealing- I'd be drawing all day for several days for even a poor and short result :(

This is seriously well done holy crap. And the fact they used the Lion King's song "The Madness of King Scar" just makes it infinitely better <3

There is a lot that doesn't make it into the movie because its too adult. This is one of them. The song you hear from Simba running away from the Pridelands after Mufasa's death is another. It was originally a followup to this song. Scar pretty much says to Nala "you are mine, deal with it", in short, either she submits or he rapes her. And she runs away to look for help and subsequently finds Simba and that's when the song plays. Its called Shadowlands and its amazing. I definitely recommend the play.

It truly is. I wish they had put the original version of He Lives in You in the opening for the second movie though. It was so much better in the play IMO.

It's funny. I'm currently in school for animation and Toon Boom is what all animation studios are switching to. They even took out all Flash classes so it's not even an option anymore. The lead animation directer for Archer told us that the entire new season was going to be done is this program so prepare for it to be everywhere in the short future :P

His point being- it's not one person that did the animation, but rather a small studio. Also, the flip about him not putting stuff like this out could be directed at you since your first comment was "why you other artists aren't this amazing" :P Maybe because they don't have entire team dedicated to a project that obviously was a part of an animation promo :P
