I've been trying to have lucid dreams. No success. Mainly because my dreams are riddled with false memories. It's becoming disorientating. I see a place in a dream, and I'm suddenly struck by an onrush of memories pertaining to that place that never happened. I also have memories of artwork I've never done. Though that's actually kind of cool, because the art in my dreams is always old and forgotten, yet really well-done, invoking a sense of nostalgia and regret that I don't put this kind of effort into stuff anymore. But anyway. It makes for disorientation because my dreams sometime are more real than reality. I have a clearer memory of dreams than I do of real events, and yet it's distant, like they're some else's memories. I recall them clearly, but they have no impact or connection to real life. When I was a kid, I used to think that dreams were real, and reality was only part of my imagination. Maybe it is!
I haven't drawn in forever. See, this is why I don't take commissions. I'd be stressing out if I had an obligation to finish these requests within a time limit. With the exception of a few trades. Glarghblargh is not a word, according to Firefox!
What am I on? Soy milk! And yes, you can have some too. It's really quite good. Thick and creamy. It's what gets me up in the morning. I need to buy some more.
I just realized, my video card has a buttload (not a word?) of mysterious ports on it. I wonder if I could hook a game console up to it. I'd kinda like to get a Wii. (Not a word, either! Damn you, Firefox!) But then there's Spore! I'd much rather get Spore. Damn you, Will Wright! Damn you for being so AWESOME! *choked, bitter sobbing*

And unfortunately there's very seldom any sexiness in my dreams. Curses.
For some reason I dream action/adventure/espionage movies. >.<
Also... I seem to be able to influence the "plot" of the dream in some ways.
Then it turns around and becomes a wierd TF scene taked out of one of my RP's.
Thing is, I don't remember wth I was transforming into, it was just strange.

As to the extra ports on your video card, if it looks like an S-video port, or rca jacks, maybe it's a TV out. If it looks like the plug where your screen is on, it's probably for dual monitor setups. Some cards are cool and have both. TV out rocks, nothing's as cool as downloading fansubbed anime episodes and then wathing them on the TV with friends :)
I know what you mean about dreams, though. I dream about drawing thinks far beyond my level of skill, however. Also, my dreams are usually much more unrealistic than reality. I die in my dreams, I fight zombies while riding a bike and weilding an M16 and a katana AT THE SAME TIME in my dreams, and I'm pretty sure I was the human incarnation of Kasara once. I never really get inspiration from dreams, though... It's like, that was awesome, but i cant make it work in the same way. I dunno. I seem to kill alot in my dreams, though...
And I agreee about deadlines. Total drawing will killer.

For the last month or so, I've been watching movies on my PS2 while in bed just to get tired enough to sleep. Oh yeah, and reading my old Garfield books. That's a clear sign you're desperate.
Thankfully, I don't have nightmares. Ever. I do tend to have a lot of exploration dreams, like browsing through strange houses or other man-made structures. Once, I was on a cruise ship. They usually make a lot of sense, but they're typically also very boring.
Dreams can be rather tricky, it's hard to know when you're in a dream for sure sometimes. And even if you're aware it's a dream, that doesn't mean you can control it really...
