Is Patreon a better platform than KickStarter?

It wasn't until I noticed a large amount of artists flocking to Patreon like crazy and I figured it would be nice to put my game on Patreon myself.
Depends on your goals but Patreon is basically like pre-ordering a game to help its development.
KickStarter and Offbeatr are basically all of your eggs in one basket and is a huge gamble seeing as how you need to build a name for yourself.
The good thing is, you can name your game with Patreon instead of gambling with your project on KickStarter and Offbeatr.

Lastly, KickStarter doesn't allow adult games or projects.
