That's not true. Imvu is only partnering they don't own FA. I don't know why people are saying this. They can't use your stuff without permission. And they DID come to own FA they would have to give out a new ToS update and ahve us all sign it again, which they haven't.
It is frustrating that people read into things so much. They aren't taking your art and using it. They aren't doing ANYTHING to FA. They are just joining communities to make each other more profitable.
FA will be the same.

It's only for ads. And I highly doubt they would use artwork over their own 3D models. I havee not ONCE seen an instance where they do this. The only thing I know imvu does is they use pictures of things people have created to help sponsor more and get more people to come to IMVU. NOT ART. My friend Nishi, a popular dev on IMVU has an ad with her fur she made in it. It made her even more money because people go "Oooo I want". They more than likely will never use someones art over their own 3D models. It's not that big of a deal. FA has this same agreement with their people on here. They have the right to use your art as they please but it doesn't upset you when FA does it.

I am currently doing the same myself...i might lose a bit of fanbase but i need a clean start anyway, I will be sure to follow you on tumblr once I get mine set up and everything else has been safely backed up on my photobucket.

Everything that I have uploaded to weasyl has popped up on google images with the links going to the weasyl account.
Just type in some tags you put on a picture you upload there into google and go to images and you should see them.

Never had that problem with FA, you can set your profile so it does not show on there.
I have not seen this option anywhere on weasyl I looked for it. But if you find it let me know and I'll go back to it.

that happens to any site you upload to. Google images is a search engine, they're not being hosted at google.

FA images do not show up on google images and sofurry gives you the option if you want them to show up there or not.

Don't blame you. I'll follow you on tumblr!
