Alrighty everyone time for another check in to see how everyone is doing!
The dragons have invaded! With Dragons of Tarkir having been out for a little over a month it's time to get everyone's opinions. Personally I'm a huge fan of dragons and I'm going to take a (relatively safe) guess and say a good chunk of you do too. I love being able to look at all the amazing art, even if the cards themselves aren't that amazing (I'm looking at you, Shieldhide Dragon!)
What new cards do you love playing with and hate playing against?

What new cards do you love playing with and hate playing against?
In all seriousness I love dtk in general, notably for its dragon spells. Dragon tempest and thunderbreak ate aming my favorites. More than a few made it in my EDH decks, the former two made it into my Zirilan of the Claw EDH, so I'm a fan of this set I assure you :3
I loved azban. loved manifest. and dromoka's brood just broke my heart
Favorite card in the set is Butcher's Glee. I already had an unnatural love of Necrobite, but this just makes it an easy to slot in piece of interaction.
I like Coat with Venom but it doesn't have the result I'm really looking for. It does beat up on fight spells though, but I have Crippling Blight and Cast into Darkness in my cube and I like those better.

R/G aggro = Stormbreath Dragon and Thunderbreak Regent, and Dragonlord Atarka!
I'm probably going to start splashing either blue (For Ojutai, Icefall, Silumgar's Scorn, better card draw) or black (Better removal, Kolaghan and her Command) within the next couple weeks, but life happens. I still need to tweak/buy the rest of my modern list before June.
same for the themur deck, switched to their dragon counterparts and they work great.
not to mention they looks epic as balls!
Temur dragons is really fun to play. Made my friend a budget version and it's big scary things alll daayyyy
Though Dragonlord Silumgar and Icebreaker Regent helped me win my local prerelease
I think Atarka and Silumgar are my two favorite dragons to play with from the new set. Atarka's a pure powerhouse that ends the game quickly if she isn't answered. And Silumgar is just fun to use as a big dragon, and to take their best thing on the board.
I think both Atarka's are great. Which one is better I think depends on the situation. Old Atarka is a better "team player" since she affects all dragons. And combining her with Xenagos, God of Revels is just priceless. But Dragonlord Atarka is an amazing stand-alone winner.
