Complex Regional Pain Syndrome!
We have a name folks. Nerve specialist spent 5 mins looking at my hands and feeling them up for him to go "I'm not equipped to deal with this." He then told me he highly suspects it to be Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, so he is sending a referral into the Panam Clinic in Winnipeg to have someone with the knowledge of this illness to give me a definite diagnosis and treatment.
Unfortunately from what Ive been reading the best thing for this illness is EARLY DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT, especially before the muscles start to spasm. My hand spasms all the time making me drop things and sending shooting pains up the arm. At this point all the readings have said that its irreversible and Im looking at life-long disability.
I was looking at a life with pain anyways given that I have permenant nerve damage (I was just really hoping it was a fracture that the xrays werent picking up).
Ill keep you guys updated on what's going on. Im just happy that stuff is moving forward and Im finally getting answers. ^^
