An Update

The big one is that I have permission to draw again. YAY. My last post said I could draw for a bit, but shortly after that i was told to stop for a while to give my hands a rest. I am now allowed to draw again but I have some serious restrictions.
-I have to do my hand exercises before and after I draw
-I can only draw 5-30 minutes a day, and only if I didn't do a lot of writing at school and work didn't cause my hand to flare up
-if it starts to hurt I have to stop
-I have to use big fat pens and pencils, my tablet pen is almost a little too small :/
Yes that means I still have tendinitis. Slow healing injury... they weren't kidding. I got out of the brace in January which was a relief. i still have it and if needed I have to use it.
This being said, ART FROM THE ASHES and BUZZY BUTTONS has permission and we have a contract that she is allowed to sell my artwork at conventions. I will make a separate post about this. But I am aware that
phynix has my posters and selling them as Art From the Ashes and has my buttons and selling them as Buzzy Buttons.
The buttons is a bit different as my hands won't allow me to use my button press at this time, Phynix had just started a company called Buzzy Buttons that presses artwork for artists and sells these buttons at events. I am more then grateful for her starting this business.
As for Conventions, I will be coming out for Manitoba Comic Con April 1st to help out, and I will be out for Ai-kon. I definitely won't have new artwork for Manitoba Comic Con, and I doubt I will have anything new for Ai-kon. But like I mentioned in the previous post I didn't think I'd have new things until C4 anyways.
I spent a week in Winnipeg recently as a recovering week for my hands, and actually getting to hang out with my artist collective which I have never done without a con. Black's Sideshow, Parallel Penguins, Art from the Ashes, and I devised a small project that I can do parts of without killing my hands and its super simple so I can build up the drawing muscles without jumping right into super detailed pieces like I tried to do. ^^;
School has been interesting but my grades are all super high so its been going well, but cuz I'm also working 34 hours a week on top of it, I'm tired all the time. But sponsorship for September seems like I'm good to go so that's a bonus. :>
The plans from here on out for my projects:
-The small project until I can start working on more detailed pieces without pain
-Halin's Commissioned Comic (First and Foremost)
-The 3 Webcomics:
-Lucky Roll, written by Hetros
-Prayers of the Fallen, written by Bantiarna
-Rebirth, by me
-The Patreons relating to the webcomics
-The Guardian, a Guardians of Kurew Novel Series
-Updating Society6 and my other online stores
-Starting up a Redbubble account
Not a lot moved during my time away from drawing mainly because I couldn't draw and I didn't want to be playing with anything that reminded me of drawing.
Everything seems to be going positive right now, even if it has been going super slow.
That's it for now. :D
