Trotcon 2015
So we went to Trotcon yesterday, it was my second con and first MLP con. It was such a fun experience, I got to meet Brian Drummond and Kelly Sheridan. I took some pictures of some amazing cosplays and I got a commission of Duff and Clover, which I will post later ^^ I know I have mentioned in my last entry that I want to get into doing commissions so I can get better at drawing. I'm a little hesitant and I know I keep using my busy life as a partial excuse but who really wants to buy my art when there's tons of others that are way better than me? I was in a room full of amazing talent yesterday and I was both awed and belittled. I bought a small sketchbook recently so I can carry it with me and draw whenever I get inspired but then I get all meh, why bother? I found an inexpensive digital drawing tablet since everyone prefers digital to traditional anymore. I even found a tumblr page that does a 30 minute art challenge but when I checked it, the most recent post was a year ago :/
