A Bit of Help: Unprofessional School

That is a GoFundMe set up by my lady-type's classmates in regards to something their school did.
Situation: My lady, as well as maybe 23 others (can't confirm that; the class size maxes out at 24), were to be a part of the Wayne County Community College District's (WCCCD) Vet Tech program. The classes should have started on the 12th.
I say "should have" because they decided to cancel the program...and didn't tell anyone until 10 am the morning OF THE 12th, a mere 7-8 hours before classes were to begin. This, despite the fact that they have been sending students of this program paperwork to get in order and sending them reminders to have everything - equipment, books, etc - ready to go UP UNTIL the 11th of the month.
As it stands right now, they are trying to put the blame on everyone but themselves and have been wholly uncooperative with the students they have fucked over.
My Request: If you can, kick a couple of pennies over to the GoFundMe thing so they can get a law group to go "the fuck?" on their behalf. If you cannot, please signal boost this. I know a lot of us have been through college, and I'm pretty certain there's a number of us that may have gone through this exact same thing.
Also, if anyone knows where I can get my hands on a set of red robes (three sets, if possible) and a REALLY wide brimmed red hat, I'd be most appreciative.
