Can't believe its been 3 years since I entered anything. Doesn't seem like that will change just yet. Last two years have been difficult for me and my family. 2014 was a year of many deaths the last two were my only brother and a cousin who had just happened to have attended my brother's funeral. sigh. Of course any kind of muse I might have had vanished utterly especially when my husband retired just before my brother's death. All those jokes about when a spouse retires and drives the other crazy are absolutely true. Especially for me as my husband does nothing all day except watch TV. Why that's bad? Let tick off the reasons: my PC is in the same room and can't go anywhere else; he's overweight and unhealthy and complains a lot AND talks to the TV or complains a lot about his feet and knee (exercise will help that dude!); we have our home on the market and it still hasn't sold some four months later; and he's such a negative person it drains all the positive energy from me. sigh

Things will get better when we move because most of our belongings are packed so we can present a less cluttered home for showing. Keeping fingers crossed that we may have found a buyer at last. If and when that happens maybe we can finally move forward with all our lives. This standing in place so long is why we're at each others throats and are so unhappy.
