Any number of reasons. Some left for good to use other sites like SoFurry, Inkbunny, Weasyl or Deviant Art. Some are just trowing rage tantrums. Some just try the feature, not realizing it can't be undone for three days.

I wonder what they would be ranting about. Oh well.
