all of my fandoms are about creating things, using them to create with or exploring places and things. none of them are about characters. so when you said suggest fandoms, i was thinking model railroading, science fiction, hobby architecture, photography (industrial and architectural), hiking, camping, fishing, railfan, mystery, art and illustration itself, cg3d, fx, props and miniatures, machinist hobby, cabinet making, construction, forestry, geology, mining, metalurgy, farming and gardening, alternative energy, species survival programs, cultural anthropology, ancient architecture, alternative cultures, untried and imaginary political systems, alien religions, preservation and resurection of lost or nearly lost languages, physical and cosmological sciences, earlyist technologies, future, alternative and imaginary technologies, environmentally harmonious ways we could be doing things now, solar powered narrow gauge railways.

as for what other humans care about, i've never been able to make sense of. they seem to have some sort of obsession with something they call epicness, none of which seems to make a whole lot of sense to me. i can never tell what people are going to want to look more and less at. i only know what interests me. and that would be little villages of really little houses, in forests, with gardens, and little trains just big enough to sit on or in, the whole thing with a kind of sense of alienness, but still capable, mostly, of being real, on any world, even our own.
