Apparently it is the Prophet's birthday(PBUH), which I was actually confused on which day it was exactly, but about now seems right, it's kinda interesting this year that Prophet Muhammad's birthday and Jesus' are close together, I found this video of King Abdullah II of Jordan makes a speech to his Muslim and Christian citizens wishing them a happy Mawlid and Christmas.
Glad to hear someone refer to Daesh as khawarij, the shoe fits.
