TBH if I thought she'd have a chance of winning I'd vote for Jill Stein, but since she's not from the two major parties that's pretty much out of the window. Red and Blue are pretty much the only parties that really get much media attention which is sadly the only information a lot of voters actually get (most don't take the time to research who all is running and look at their campaign "promises" and political stances).

But either way, I would rather Bernie than Trump - because I feel like if Trump were to become president, all the people that agree with him so strongly would do crazy things just because the president would then share their views and thus they'd think they could get away with it. A 14.5% would be extremely low for the US, unfortunately. It'd have to be at least 25%, and that's considering all of the cuts that a libertarian would make. Unfortunately everyone who proposes a flat tax just pulls a number out of thin air and doesn't realize how bad a flat tax fares during a recession for large countries.

Bernie isn't unrealistic, it's all mainstream economics. However, the devil lies in the details, as his statements on the economical effects he'll bring, while positive, will not be as positive as stated.

In all honesty. As much as people are going bananas over the presidential election, people have to realize the president has very limited power. Sure he can do executive orders, but the courts and Congress will shut things down. Take for example what's going on right now. Obama wanted to do a executive order for emigration reform, frozen by the courts. He wants to nominate a new Supreme court justice, obstructionist republicans say they will hold out for the remainer of obama's term. Which is more then 330days. That would nearly double the last longest process for a nomination (125days). For a president to be effective he needs the judicial and legislative support otherwise we will end up what been happening for nearly the last 4 years of frozen Washington. I like Bernie and I support Wolfpac in hopes to end this additional insanity of money equals free speech. We gone from a constitutional republic to a oligarchy and pipe dream or not, I rather fight to make the establishment shake in their boots then to go quietly into that dark night.

A good portion of congress is up for election this november as well. If congress's reelection shifts it towards more progressive, then more can be done. This is the year they should be quaking in their boots.
