I kind of want trump to win
I mean it's not like they would let him actually do any of the stuff he "promises " but it'd be really interesting to see.
I mean I'm still going to vote Bernie so that after he dies 2 years into his term we can just get his VP or something
I WISH my vote would actually matter twards Jeb bush, but he's so far behind it really won't make a difference.
Bernie and trump are unrealistic, hillary is a reptilian over lord, Ted is a scarier version of trump because he may actually slip past some fucky law, Jeb bush is just like a mix between his brother and father ( that that as you may, I think they're both good people ) with massive stagefright, and Ben stabs people.
We've got areally shitty batch of people this year

A lot of people are afraid of Bernie Sanders becoming Hitler, but I think even the thought of leading a 4th Reich would give him a heart attack
But either way, I would rather Bernie than Trump - because I feel like if Trump were to become president, all the people that agree with him so strongly would do crazy things just because the president would then share their views and thus they'd think they could get away with it. I fear the people more than I fear Trump, basically.
Is that an option?
WHEN YOU'RE TIRED OF CHOOSING THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS
Damned if you do, Damned if you don't.
And then people that hate Trump personality wise always seem confused when they then say they are going to vote for him anyway because they like his policies and ideas and the fact he is the only "self-funded" political candidate in DECADES, and even calls out all the big money "puppet masters" behind the other candidates.
At least if Trump wins, Comedy Central, other comedy channels and comedy shows will have endless fun with that. Bernie on the other hand, I don't know how long they could milk the whole "Jewish President" thing. ^_^
Either way it will likely be Bernie Vs. Trump in the end... Unless the electoral colleges pick someone other than the popular vote again.
That "South Park" episode was right. There only seems to be two choices in politics... A "Turd Sandwich" OR a "Giant Douche".
But I do agree. I swear this election has the worst batch of candidates we have ever had, and the ones who are kinda good are too far behind to matter.
No matter who wins it won't affect me, I'm just some almost lower middle class kid who draws dicks and hates life.
Until the US implements run-off voting, no third parties. (Interestingly, Georgia has run-off voting for the US Senate and House elections.)
A run-off election allows third (, fourth, fifth) parties to compete without the spoiler effect of electing a candidate without majority support, a la Roosevelt's spoiler of William Taft, and the election of the awful Woodrow Wilson. (The first time as tragedy, the second time as farce.
As for the misinformation age: in the US, the Administrative Procedures Act of 1946 allows the Executive to "pass laws": they create new rules and regulations, and Congress has no say unless they actively reject the new "rules." Now, the House can reject new rules with a simple majority vote but Senate rules require invoking cloture, or 60 votes (since we admitted AL and HI for 100 Senators). Any group of 41 Senators can paralyze the Senate and allow any new rules to pass. The latest instance is transgender bathroom rule, which much be obeyed or schools lose Federal funding and tax credits.
Nowadays, the House has little power, since it has devolved to the Pentarchy in the US Supreme Court, and the multiple Gangs of 41 in the Senate. The politicians have noted this and so they refuse to bring bad news home to their voters, which is the source of misinformation.
