It's back on! As soon as I go to complain about it, lol. *squish*

sketchbook and candles, refrigeration being the space between the window and the windowscreen. makes for a day that isn't business as usual.
when i was growing up in the mountains, my dad worked for the railroad, we used to get power outages two or three times a year, sometimes they lasted for days at a time. no one used electric to cook or heat with in those places. and everyone had a drawer full of candles or a couple of kerosene lanterns.

but remember that thing to keep food from spoiling when there's no power for the refrigeratior. the outside already is one, so that space between the window and the screen makes one just fine.

might be a good think to have a solar panel rigged up somewhere to charge batteries for cell phones and a radio to find out what's going on locally.

I had to dig around for some candles but luckily it didn't last till night time. The fridge even stayed cold enough to where we didn't have to put everything outside. Using the windows is a great idea! Keeps out the raccoons, lol. I would LOVE to have a solar panel. Our next door neighbors do have a generator, I'm sure they would adopt us all if worse came to worse. I appreciate your input :D
