Ohhhh Artwork and how it can be truly amazing or a full on disappointment. But the real reason we have these feelings goes back way before furries. Let's think about art work outside the fandom and a art gallery. You see a picture hanging on a wall and you think wow this is very nice OR you think it's "meh" . Now, take this same concept into the fandoms artwork. We ask artists to make art for us but, because it's art we need to know that there's variable. So the tip here is very simple. Look at your artist(s) study them and learn what he/she puts out before the final purchase. NO ONE should be sad at what they get, if they study enough and give enough details. And everyone should know not EVERY piece of art comes out perfect.
