Okay. This is weird. And I don't think that suit was a hedgehog. It certainly wasn't a panda. I'd accuse it of being Pokemon, if I thought such things came in adult sizes.

But confusion on the subject is understandable. If someone claims to have a bomb, the only thing you're thinking about is running like hell.

The hell of it is, I *know* I've seen that hood design before, I think it may be a kid-friendly rhino. In any case, the zip drive he demanded they play contained a rant by the "Panda-suit man" concerning the government and space.

I also don't recall reading anywhere that he actually had a bomb. He had wires on him under the suit and wouldn't take his hand out of his pocket, which is why he got shot, but no one has said the threat was real.

Also I notice that no one has called this "an act of terrorism". I guess you can't be a terrorist if you're wearing little kid jammies at the time of the act.

One report said the best was full of candy bars wrapped in foil. If I saw that I'd think something in foil could be home made TATP, which is very volatile. One sad thing about jammies is that some suicide bombers in Nigeria are little girls with cluster bomblets strapped to them that kill far more people than most suicide vests. The cluster bombs, originally made in France, were a horror in the first place and now Boko Haram has control of them to use as IEDs.
