Twitter isn't the sort of place most people go for their furry art because unless they go to your page directly they may miss a post due to other people actively tweeting (nonstop for some). I think Tumblr is the one that is supposed to be like twitter/facebook but mostly pictures and you can subscribe to what you want to see (I don't use that one but then again I don't use my facebook at all and twitter is for lurking occasionally but my friend's post are drowned out by promoted crap)
