Been Too Long - 6/18/2016

Good grief, it's been a month and a half since I posted anything here. I swore I wasn't going to do that, and now look at me. Not like oodles of people care what's going on in my life, but still, it's a good way to write down your thoughts, ne?
Everything is going fairly well. Rina's job is great, she loves working there and the pay is awesome. Our apartment is safe and secure, thanks for all the support on that guys, and we're living good, happy lives. I currently have art block (sorry about the lack of new stuff), but there could be worse things. I just do it for fun any more anyways. The one set back is that Rina might not be able to get funding to go to school anymore (long story), but I'm set to transfer to university next fall after we get a few life things sorted out.
The main thing we're looking at right now...? We kinda want some pups of our own. That gets kinda tricky though since we're both biologically female (I am FtM transgender for those just tuning in), so we're thinking about exactly we're gonna go about that. To make things even more complex, Rina can't have kids so it's up to me to make this happen. There's definitely some emotional complexity to that, but I've grown comfortable enough in my masculinity and my gender to be okay with the idea. I want kids, and while I may be a guy, biology doesn't 100% agree with me so why not use it to my advantage?
Heavy stuff, phew. In lighter news, I'm finally on a good medication that works well for me. No more throwing up, or sleeping all the time. I'm kinda pissed off at the last kind they had me on... made me gain like twenty pounds, son of a b$*th. *sighs* Oh well, more reason to get up and keep my physical therapy going. My hip still hurts, probably will for the rest of my life (not surprising though since they took out a piece the size of a softball), but, it's not gonna keep me down.
Yes, yes, my medicine makes me sickeningly cheerful sometimes. No more grumpy demon for me.
Anyways, there's an update. Woo! Or... whatever. I have to prep for the pathfinder game I'm running so I'll say peace out and I hope y'all are having a great start to summer!

I'm really glad that things are going well for both you and your mate. Hope that you can bust through that art block soon.
