Additional options include various prescription drug savings cards that in the absence of insurance provide a discount on various drugs (at the trade off of those companies gaining information about you to sell for marketing purposes). I know that Rite Aid has a savings card for people without insurance that offers a discount from the cash price.
Free health care but you gotta wait like 2 years to get something done.
"What's that, you think you may have a starting cancer tumor? We'll just put you up on a time 1 1/2 years from now and just hope it's not one and that it will not grow"
There are at least like 5 times a year they report on the news or in the paper of someone who's seen by camera surveilance just die in the waiting rooms and people critizise the health care, when really it's a bad job here. Pay is poor and you have to work like an animal as a doctor or nurse.
We complain about EVERYTHING without thinking of the side picture.
So instead on trying to make being a doctor/nurse a well paying job you can live on, there for enabling more people to be it and increase the amount of employes and probably cut waiting times swedes instead complain like it's the nurses and doctors fault when really they're as big victims as the patients.
Good ol' Sweden. Full of fucking idiots.
I will say this last part and please don't take it offensively because I have no idea what your situation is like, but there's a reason why people get insurance and this is the reason. I do suggest looking into insurance if you can afford it, your little blurb about your washing machine kinda tells the tale, but I do highly suggest it nonetheless. Please don't take this as condescending :( I do hope you feel better and can work out a possible solution to your problem.
Best wishes Codeine
ech i just didn't think i'd need it
but yeah i'm going to go in and talk to the doctor about maybe them having coupons or something idk, also i'm looking into insurance now also
You do you Codeine <3 Insurance will help in the long run, and also cover unexpected things like say... unintended side effects of the medications or the like. Worse comes to worse, if your state doesn't offer the type of insurance or you could get a better offer else ware, you can always move.
My cousin had Cystic Fibrosis (CF for short) and her parents moved up to Pennsylvania. I don't know too much of the particulars, but the insurance they got helped them a ton. At the end, she spent 3 months in a hospital, they managed to keep her alive with two failing lungs for those 3 months. The bill my cousin's family racked up was over a million dollars, they paid none of it, it was all covered. So definitely look around, and even towards other states and their laws/regulations with insurance and stuff like that. Though moving just because of medication costs/future unforeseen expenses seems a bit over the top, my aunt and uncle don't have to live out of a box because of it. Just food for thought.
