I wish there was a way to like fund super small things

Without coming off like I'm begging
Cause Damn my wrist pain is so bad from having to draw on a vertical tablet it's not even funny. But every computer desk I find that would give me enough space to lay my tablet down the way I need is just a little too much for me to afford any time soon (what with bills and doctors appointments and medicine)
On top of all of that it really kills my mood to not have space to lay my iPad down for references while I'm working, much less have a second monitor.
I've just literally only got 25 inches worth of work space and only 3 inches to rest my arm while drawing, I mean shit my keyboard doesn't even fit on my desk.
I really can't keep up with these financial demands with my wrist needing a break every 20 mins tho
UGH

But I will see if I can help kitty.
Home Depot (or Lowes, Target, Walmart, etc) sells them for $40-60 on average. If nothing more, it's a cheaper alternative than a proper computer desk that you could use elsewhere once you can afford to!
Plus it's WAY better than that set up you have now no matter what. D:
Problem solved~
As for references. I always load those up in photoshop with the project that I'm working on to just take care of window hopping all together.
And I can only assume it's that big because it has the screen on it as well?
I mean...my Alienware "laptop" is way heavier than that and blows extremely hot air out of the vents when I run Photoshop and stream at the same time.
That kinda sounds luxurious to me. lol
and yes, it's got a screen and a bunch o wires and a permanent stand mounted on the back that jams into my legs lol
AS for design, I know what you're talking about. I was never able to call those tablets. At that point it's more of a touch sensitive monitor. XP
Back in the day, before there were flat screen monitors all over the place, my dad had this set up where it somehow put the back of the computer monitor at your knees,
That way the screen itself was sitting in the desk and the keyboard was behind the monitor.
That sort of set up might be way easier to do today, but I don't really know how it would work with a vertical tablet.
A desk with one of those elevating placement thingies in the middle might work...but I don't know exactly what you would call it, to look for the correct thing. DX
Also i feel your pain with desk issues. my desk is my LAP XD i hold my table airborne in my hand and draw on it... have done for.... how long have i been on FA? nearly 10 years?
Ever contemplated a tip jar?
i miss when i could just hold my tablet in my lap, that's the biggest downside to a screen tablet
Think about the tip jar thing though, peeps can pop a few bucks in whenever to support you .
and yeh- i should get one up and running
seriously, just something like this http://cdn.instructables.com/F6U/CL.....SOD.MEDIUM.jpg
