Ooh! That stuff can be really nasty! You gonna have to drink a lot of liquids. I suggest drinking tea with lemon and honey. The lemon will help soothe your throat and the honey will act like an antibiotic. It worked for me when I had throat colds and my upper respiratory infections. But alas, I'm not a doctor so you'll still have to follow the doctor's orders. Get well soon and get lots of rest!

I usually avoid lemon in my tea, I end up putting milk in it. But the heat is very soothing.

That is what I did earlier. Hot soup feels so good.
