In house we have two cats and two mini parrots <cockatiel and gcc>
Mainland I have a few friends boarding my reptiles for me

six leaf tail geckos
two bradypodion chams

Corns are fun, hondurans/milks are pretty good too and come in a lot of pretty colors, if you're sticking with colubrids.
