What are some of the most appealing / attractive traits a character's design can have for you?

Hm... I like characters that I feel I've seen before IRL, so... If I see a character and think 'that reminds me of X' that's a pretty good call :3
Aside from that, I prefer natural tones rather than bright ones, especially on furries XD And personality means a lot to me too~

I like this as well! If I can imagine a slice of the character's daily life it tremendously increases their appeal. Very difficult to do that with some of the more outlandish designs you often see in the fandom.

I've always had cats in my household. We're a strict cat-friendly family XD My sona as a cat actually started back in highschool, so he's a reallly really old representation of me who has gone though a bunch of changes. One day I'll pull together a timeline of him!
Anyway, I love cats for their personality, which is namely aloof, a bit snide and judgmental, but also prone to spaz-outs and pure derp moments.

Have you ever been interested in doing slice of life 'couples in conflict' oriented pictures? I rarely see them, but I think it can be a neat and introspective thing for couples to do. It's also a great chance to explore other different portrayals of emotions, colors, moods.

I got one for me and my sweetie a while back. Surprising them with it when it was done a week later. It actually helped us talk a little more calmly about our feelings and patch things up. c:

Is there anything that made you want to leave the furry fandom? Obviously you're still here, but something that made you ashamed of being a furry.

hm, yeah. I guess what I worry about most is showing people in a professional setting my art and them realizing how over sexualized the fandom tends to be.
