I wish Deus Ex more consistently rewarded you, or at least changed your interactions with characters, based on whether or not you were a killer. I wish that Deus Ex noted the distinction at all.

Hmm ... I hadn't noticed. This is my first time playing it, so I've been fairly benevolent. I suppose that's true, though. For some reason, I incurred the wrath of the police down near the Lucky Money while defending the place against Majestic 12 soldiers. I eventually had to take them all out in defense, and when I got back up to the market, it was like nothing happened.

By the time you make it to the lucky money it doesn't matter who you kill. Killing people or not killing people changes reactions to you for the first 3 or so missions though, after that the game is the same either way.

Sounds fun. Being sick messes with my sleep schedule. I'm in too much pain to sleep, so I've been up past 3AM reading Heinlein 3 days in a row. Pain wakes me up at 6AM. Stop stealing my sleep!!!

oh god, i had that once but couldnt sleep for over 30 hours, i had to do tons of stuff like run around or take a walk, that way i can get exhausted and go right to sleep with no trouble.

Well, if ya seem to have hit artist's block, try drawing something you usually don't draw. Try a small long-term art project. Write a story. Think of subjects you've yet to draw. Mew.

Alittle screwy in the time frames huh... IT's strange really... I never really know what day it is untill something says 'Today is: ' so i can feel your pain... <,<... or dizzyness... *shrugs* Today is what you want it to be! And everyone else has to deal with it or walk away!

And speaking of your artist block... *Insert Cheezy Info-mercial music* I have the cure for that one! The 'Artist Hammer'! *holds up a large mallet* ^_^... <,<.... that's the artist mallet... I've never been able to go fully nocturnal, annoyingly enough. Even when I tried, I still found myself waking up at odd hours or nodding off when I was supposed to be awake. I guess I'll never shake my sleep habits.

I totally understand the 'what time/day is it' disorientation, though.

hmmm... Deus Ex? What's that game like? I've heard a few things about it, but couldn't play it before cuz I was so far behind trailing edge that I couldn't meet the system requirements...

Gonna hop in the bargain bins if it's good...

It's kind of like System Shock 2. But that's kind of an obscure game, so uh ... Think of it as Half-Life, but with RPG elements. Like, you get skill points that you can spend on weapons skills, or hacking/lockpicking skills ... you get cybernetic powers throughout the game ... and it's a really good story. Lots of twists.

Since when did the actual day matter?
